“Do you think that this is just another day in your life? It’s not just another day. It’s the one day that is given to you, today. It’s GIVEN to you. It’s a gift. It’s the only gift that you have right now, and the only appropriate response is gratefulness.”
At the close of some days here in Puebla, I feel disheartened. I want to share this video with you because it is a reminder for me that I have much to be grateful for. From the moment I open my eyes in the morning, every experience is an incredible encounter with Creation. I am learning to appreciate these moments more fully. Here is a short excerpt spoken by an elderly man in the video:
